India’s 16-year-old grandmaster defeats chess champion Magnus Carlsen. The Chennai native, Ramesh Prabhu Pragyananda, defeated Norwegian star and world champion Magnus Carlsen.

Pragyananda, who played with black pieces , defeated the world champion in 39 moves.

At just 10 years old, he became the Grandmaster, the highest title a chess player can achieve. He is ranked No. 165 in the world as of now.
