1) Practice brainstorming

5) Be comfortable with ambiguity

In order for you to become an out of the box thinker, you must first be comfortable with ambiguity. This means not being afraid to explore new ways of thinking and trying new things. It also means pushing through your fear and discomfort in order to find out what it is that will make you happy. For example, if you’re stuck in a job that doesn’t make you happy and want more from life, find out what it is that would make you happy instead. Explore options for getting that type of job or even starting your own business.
