As We work to create light for others, We naturally light our own way

As We work to create light for others, We naturally light our own way. This should be evident in all the individuals who have come before Us, who have worked tirelessly to bring about positive change in the world despite adversity and difficult circumstances of their own making them seem like unlikely candidates at the outset. In the same way that I would not expect to climb a mountain without first preparing myself physically, I should not expect to produce great things if I do not prepare myself mentally and spiritually beforehand as well.

Why do we help others?
People give of themselves for many reasons. Some feel a sense of duty or responsibility, some have time on their hands and have the means to help, some are just good people. But we all do it for the same reason—to make someone else’s life better. We want them to be happy, healthy, hopeful and whole. And as we work to create light for others, we naturally light our own way in the process. It is a beautiful cycle that never ends—giving love creates more love and this world would be a much better place if everyone could see it that way.

What are the benefits of helping others?
Helping others benefits me in many ways. It allows me to be a positive force in the world and has brought me more joy than I ever thought possible. Plus, it feels good knowing that I’m making an impact on someone’s life. There are many benefits of helping others, but it all starts with one individual deciding they want to make a difference in the lives of those around them. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and start lighting your own way!

How can I help others?
There are many ways that you can help others. You could volunteer your time, donate money, or spread the word about a cause you care about. When you do these things, you not only make a difference in the lives of others; but it also helps brighten your own life as well. Whether it’s giving someone a ride to work when they’re running late for an appointment or dropping off groceries for an elderly neighbor, being kind and helpful is always rewarding and will bring joy into your life. As we work to create light for others, we naturally light our own way…

Every little bit of help counts
I am honored to be able to help people in need. Sometimes I feel like I’m not doing enough, and other times I feel like I am just making a small difference. When those moments happen, it is important for me to remember that every little bit of help counts. Even the tiniest act of kindness could be the light that someone needed, which makes my efforts worth it in the end.
