The Things That We’re Given

Like all of us, you were given talent, looks and the ability to be famous and make money, but like all of us, you have to decide what to do with what you’ve been given. Being lucky enough to be born on the winning side of life isn’t hard work, but you have to work hard not to lose it! Be thankful! Be Grateful! Be careful! Don’t let the things that you were given define who you are as an individual!

Talent and Looks
Some people are born with natural talent for music, mathematics, or art. These are things that we can’t control and most likely will never know the true extent of their abilities. It’s important to be thankful for these gifts because they take time and dedication to perfect. No matter how much practice we put in, we will never be able to make our voice as beautiful as Christina Aguilera or master the violin like Yo-Yo Ma.

Fame and Money
A lot of people are looking for fame and money, but the truth is that it’s not going to be easy. The journey to a successful life doesn’t come with a short cut. It takes hard work, dedication and sacrifice. To be successful in any field, you need to be willing to get your hands dirty and work for everything you’ve got. You have to believe in yourself and push through the tough times when no one else will.

Attitude and Ego
Some people come into this world with more talent and looks than others. Some people are born into a wealthy family and have the support of their parents. Some people don’t have the same opportunities as others, but they still make the most of it.
