There’s no better exercise for strengthening the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.

There’s no better exercise for strengthening the heart than reaching down and lifting people up from their pain and suffering, showing them kindness and compassion, being willing to go the extra mile to help someone in need, or simply picking up the phone when your friends or family members are in crisis. We can all do these simple things every day, no matter our position in life or our responsibilities to others, and it’s an incredibly effective way to boost our health and happiness on both physical and emotional levels.

It’s not about the size of your muscles
Having a strong heart doesn’t always mean not having any health issues, but it does mean being able to keep going when life throws you a curveball. A strong heart is one that can deal with stress, work through difficult situations, and come out on top in the end. It’s not about the size of your muscles or how much you can bench-press; it’s about what you do with your strength that counts. In fact, there may be no better exercise for strengthening the heart than reaching down and lifting people up when they need it most – whether it’s a friend who needs a shoulder to cry on or someone who needs help moving furniture across town.

The benefits of helping others
Yes, there are many benefits to giving back. Here are just a few: You will feel good about yourself; you will be making a difference in someone else’s life; you can find your purpose; and it could open doors to new opportunities.
But, the most important reason to give back is because it strengthens your own heart, because when you help others, you’re really helping yourself as well.

How to get started
It can be hard to know where to start with your fundraising efforts. That’s why I wanted to write this post, outlining some of the best ways you can get started on your fundraising journey—from deciding what type of fundraiser you want to run, to figuring out how much money you need, and how to get it there.
Let’s start with your first question: What type of fundraiser should I do?

Why it’s important to keep helping others
No one is going to come around and fix your problems for you, so it’s important to make time in your day to help other people with theirs. Not only will you feel a sense of purpose, but you’ll be creating good karma that will help you when times are tough. The more we help others, the more we strengthen our hearts; there’s no better exercise for strengthening the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.

And that’s worth more than anything else in the world!
No matter what your goal is, you can strengthen your heart by letting go of any negative feelings or thoughts and focusing on helping others. There are so many ways to help other people without spending a single penny—you can volunteer, donate time, donate money, or buy gifts for those who need it most. You may not see immediate results when you help others, but over time as you keep striving to make life easier for those around you, you will experience an incredible sense of accomplishment that will fill your heart with joy. And that’s worth more than anything else in the world!
