Making others comfortable will help you be more comfortable too

Make others comfortable and you will see that Nature will take care of your comfort

A lot of people are very well aware that they will have to be comfortable in order to grow and prosper in life, but not many know how to do it well. If you want to really be comfortable then there are certain things that you will need to learn and practice in order to make your comfort into something real and lasting. When you master the skill of making others comfortable around you, Nature will take care of your comfort too.

How do we make others comfortable?
-Step away from the noise and into a calm space.
-Encourage them to share their thoughts and feelings in a way that feels comfortable to them.
-Encourage the listener to take their time and really listen.
-Stay present with them and don’t rush them through it.
-Pay attention to your body language, facial expressions, tone of voice, and words used so that the person knows they are being heard.

Put yourself in their shoes
When someone is uncomfortable, it can trigger the same feelings in you. When it comes to making other people feel at ease, there are some things to keep in mind:
-Be confident and empathetic The first thing someone wants when they’re feeling uncomfortable is reassurance that everything’s going to be okay. Showing empathy or understanding can go a long way. -Know your limits If you’re not an expert in something, don’t try to act like one.

Stop making excuses
Excuses are the most common thing when it comes to people not wanting to do something. They are also used to justify why they can’t do something or make themselves feel better after they fail. The only thing that excuses really do is prevent you from accomplishing your goals and dreams.

Try new things
You are going to have to get out of your comfort zone and try new things. You don’t have to do them all at once, but start with one and see how you feel about it. Once that goes well, try another one. This might make you uncomfortable at first, but if the end goal is to feel better, it’s worth it in the long run!

Expand your comfort zone
My comfort zone is pretty small. I’m not sure if it’s because I grew up in a small town or because of my upbringing but I want to work on expanding it.
I want to start by making other people feel at home and then when they are feeling comfortable, they will make me feel at home too.
