Why is it important to think about your legacy?
Think about what you want to leave behind. For some people, it’s their family. For others, it might be a company they’ve built from the ground up or a product that changed the way we think about something. But no matter what’s important to you, thinking about your legacy is one of the most important things you can do with your life.
What are some things you can do to make a positive impact and leave a lasting legacy?
Everyone wants to leave a mark on the world. It’s in our nature to want to make an impact that goes beyond our individual lives. But how can you ensure that your legacy will live on after you’re gone? There are many ways that you can do this, and I’ll share my top three with you. 1) Give Back. Giving back doesn’t just mean donating money or time; it means giving of yourself as well. Spend more time with friends and family, help them out when they need something, even offer up some good advice now and then- these are all ways that you can give back. 2) Pursue Your Passions. What are the things in life that excite and inspire you? Whatever they may be, pursue them!
How can you ensure that your legacy will live on after you’re gone?
You have to think about what you want people to remember about you. What would make people say, Wow. She was so great. If you want to leave a lasting impression on the world, start by doing things for other people and not just yourself.
Volunteer at a local soup kitchen or homeless shelter. You’ll get to give back, and really help someone in need while also giving yourself a sense of purpose. Spend time helping out with community projects like building homes or painting murals on walls in public areas. You’ll feel really proud of the things you’re able to accomplish, and know that it’s all because of your hard work.
